CMP-notice with MODX 2.3.1 and Quip 2.3.3

Hi! It's the first time I have an use case for "Quip", but I can't get it work.
After installing it, I'm not able to see the custom manager page, but this line:

"Notice: Undefined index: debugUser in /home//public_html/core/components/quip/model/quip/quip.class.php on line 132"

MODX: 2.3.1
Quip: 2.3.3

Another MODX-user seems to have the same issue:

Can you verify this behavior and do you have an idea to get it work?

By the way.. obviously system setting debug = 1 destroyed the output of the custom manager page. Set debug = 0 to bypass the error.
