Colon in Component Name

We have an internal Wiki we just added the Bugzilla extension to, and it works pretty well! One thing I haven't been able to figure out yet, however, is how to reference some of our components that contain colons. When I do, the following error message appears:

Warnings were generated during the execution of function
String Department: Team is invalid using regex /^[\w,@\.\s\*\/%!()+-]*$/

I have also tried using "%3A" instead of ":"; however no results are ever returned.

FWIW, the workaround I have been using is:

component=Department%Team
