Longevity and maintainability of this plugin

I'd like to start moving this plugin towards a more stable design. There are just a coupke of things that I'd like to see happen before we push this to Zed.
The main thing that I'd like to do is get a couple of eager developers onto the project as maintainers as to reduce the bus factor, as we've noticed as of late, I haven't had much time to finish getting this plugin ready for release and that has really slowed development. We've had several kind developers that have worked through issues and put out changes, but I haven't been as quick as I'd like to review and pull in those changes.
I'd also like to get together some code standards and contribution guide for those who want to contribute to the plugon.

I'm happy to be a tester and assist with issue admin/whatever, my rust skills though are practically nonexistent... so basically a glorified cheerleader

I've added @jpike88 as a maintainer to help manage issues, and help out where needed.

I've added a branch protection rule to main that requires one approval, I figured since there's 4 or us now an extra set of eyes can't hurt.

Sure, happy to help. Also willing migrate it to the zed-extensions org (keeping current maintainers) if that's something that interests you. Otherwise it's fine here too.
