Add Wifi & Bluetooth driver (?)

Hi,

This is great, do you have any plans on adding wireless (Wifi and Bluetooth/BluetoothLE) drivers?

I'm particularly interested in Bluetooth LE.

Hello.

Neither Wifi nor Bluetooth on the Raspberry Pi are documented by the Raspberry Pi Foundation, so basically the only way to add them is to look through the code of the Linux-drivers, and copy loads of data or search for third party posts about the chips.

Bluetooth would probably be simple enough to get running. There should not be loads of layers in the Bluetooth-stack, which have to work before anything works at all, but I'm not that sure about it. Wifi on the other hand could work without TCP/IP, but to be useful at all, the TCP/IP-stack should be running. The latter is a pain to implement correctly and safely.

If you want to implement drivers for the Bluetooth and/or Wifi chips on the Raspberry Pi, be my guest. For me this has very low priority at the moment.
