vcf file in out files

Hello, nh13, I have some question：

1. I wonder if the mutations in the vcf file in the output of DWGSIM are randomly generated and how to control the counts of mutations.
2. In the vcf file, what about the "AF" and "pl" int the "info“ field mean? If the AF=0.5, does that mean if I simulate 1,000,000 reads pairs at one time and 500,000 reads have the mutation?
