dummy scan  in fMRI  sequence not functional in VE11E

our center has ABCD protocol (VE11C_protoocols_20190320) uploaded in our Siemens Prisma 3T (VE11E) scanner. I tried to set the number of dummy scans under sequences --> special. I found the dummy scans numbers not functional at all. I tried several numbers and I am pretty sure there is no extra dummy scans before the start of data acquisition. Is this true? thanks!
