The bug was introduced in undici v7.19.2, which shipped in nodejs 25.6: #61566

undici already released a fixed v7.20.0 - https://github.com/nodejs/undici/releases/tag/v7.20.0 with this fix nodejs/undici#4791

fetch not crashing

What do you see instead?

fetch is crashing as described in the aforementioned issue, and we've ran into similar issues ourselves
