When adding species to locality should the species get the same reference on its list that the locality gets? To discuss.

I agree with Hispanomys. The fact that a species is merely mentioned in a locality does not imply the reference is useful for information on that species. The only interesting thing may be the occurrence, but that is exactly what the database is for.

I think that not necessarily. Locality faunal lists are often compiled from 'general' papers, sometimes introducing the site or discussing its age. There may be more specific papers describing certain species (or higher categories, e.g., a whole order) present at the site. These provide more specific data and should be given for particular species when available.
