Bel Hacel has Eurygnathohippus in the list. It is not mentioned by Arambourg (1979, table p. 131) and I hae not seen it in the museum in Paris when I studied the fauna.For Arambourg the site dates to the middle or late Villafranchan. The age is given here as 3.6-2.58 Ma, but it is not indicated on what this is based. Then the list includes Equus and Mammuthus meridionalis: for sure the site is younger than 2.58 Ma.
