Message:
There are 6 localities at Arroyo del Val (I - VI). Here the fauna of all is given. Several large mammal species are lacking.
The Cervidae, or part of them, were described by
Azanza Asensio, B., 2000. Los Cervidae (Artiodactyla, Mammalia) del Mioceno de las cuencas del Duero, Tajo, Calatayud-Teruel y Levante. Memorias del Museo Paleontológico de la Universidad de Zaragoza, 8: 1-376.
She mentions Procervulus larteti and Heteroprox furcatus in Arroyo del Val and Manchones.
I think that all the antlers of Euprox in her table 17 are from Arroyo del Val IV. Tables 18-19 give the measurements of the dentition from Arroyo del Val I, IV, VI and from Manchones I.
Heteroprox: antlers (Tb9) from Arroyo del Val IV and VI and Manchones I, dentition (Tbs 10-13) Arroyo del Val IV, VI and Manchones I & II.
