Answering "?" to scaffolding questions throws error instead of showing help

The helper text after running grunt-init interactive says "Note that answering "?" to any question will show question-specific help and answering "none" to most questions will leave its value blank." Entering a "?" instead causes Fatal error: util.error is not a function.
