Open and Save dialogs

Would it be possible to add the functionality to launch an "Open" or a "Save as" dialog from xdg-desktop-portal?

I don't have too much time (or motivation) to implement new features in this project these days.

If you want to implement this feature and open a PR, I will happily review it.

I understand. I haven't been able to figure out how to get something like this working in Java.

I'll keep this issue open just in case someone with more knowledge on the topic comes along and is willing to implement it.
