custom fields issue

I have added a custom field, however whenever I enter anything into it either typing or paste when I save it gets removed. It does sometimes work very rarely. If I do manage to get it to go in I cant then remove it as every save fails.
You can see from the screen shot I am also getting a warning on the ckeditor 4 version with a security warning.
Can you advise what I am doing wrong.
Also is it possible to add just a html field without the editor?

Sorry abot the late reply, GitHUb always goes into my clutter, regardless of me trying to stop it doing that.

Yes, I have seen this on one of our clients sites, but not on openstore.
The problem was solved by removing a CDN that was placed in the body of the page. OpenStore does have a CDN for CKeditor that you can change, in the settings,
I'm unsure why it would need to be in the custom field template. But check for that.

I have updated it to using https://cdn.ckeditor.com/4.22.1/standard/ckeditor.js which still has the same issue.
If I try and update to either the latest v4 or v5 the articles page fails to load.

The main issue I am trying to solve is that I want a custom field which doesnt use the ckeditor I want to be able to use just html. Is this possible?

The issue when I add html to the ckeditor is it just displays the html wrapped in a p

Do you mean:

@HtmlOf(info.GetXmlProperty("genxml/textbox/howtouse"))

that will display it.

setting the versionCheck to false should stop the CKEditor msg.

It should already in the default OpenStore install.

I have found the same issue on another site and this fix is not working.
This site is using NBStore v 3.6.7
Can you advise how to fix it on this version?

Wow... that's 8 years ago.. I can't remember what the difference was.
Maybe the JS got inject via a template, have a look on the page for the CKEditor script inject and search the template files for the CKeditor js.
