New local source files are not shown in the Workspace

Problem
Newly created local file (eg. via File -> New File) is not shown in the Workspace browser tree. The new file is shown only after pressing the Upload button on the parent folder.

Expected behaviour
Newly create local files are shown immediately in the Workspace browser at the right place.

Thanks for consideration! This would make the plugin much more user friendly and less confusing.

I can imagine that implementing something like automatic file system monitoring/sync takes time.
But a simpler solution would be to able to right click on a parent folder and select "New File" or "New Folder".

There are already buttons like Upload and Download, ... etc.

I am considering add the New File and New Folder buttons at the top/title of the workspace browser, similar to how it is done in the VSCode explorer
so you would select a folder in the workspace browser and could then create a new file/folder underneath the selected folder. This would be created locally then and could be uploaded in a later stage

what do you think?

that sounds like a perfect seamless integration and would help a lot of people, especially the new ones to intuitively orient within the plugin! Thanks for implementing this.
