Misaligned text on longer lines

Tested with chromium 142, size 400x683 (emulated mobile environment), with the demo editor on overtype.dev:

Actually I'm pointing to the end of line ({) here. It seems that the new lines are handled differently for the overlay and the input area.

Unable to Reproduce

I've attempted to reproduce this issue but haven't been able to observe the misalignment. I tested with:

• Chrome DevTools device emulation at exactly 400x683
• Various content including long wrapping lines and code blocks
• Many newlines to check for cumulative drift
• Both the demo content from overtype.dev and custom stress-test content

The cursor alignment appears correct in all my tests.

1. A screen recording showing the misalignment behavior
2. The exact text content in the textarea when the issue occurs (copy/paste)
3. Your operating system and version (e.g., Windows 11, macOS 14.2, Ubuntu 22.04)
4. Browser version - you mentioned Chromium 142, is this still the version where you see the issue?
5. Does this occur in other browsers? (Firefox, Safari, Edge)
6. Steps to reproduce - specific actions to trigger the misalignment (e.g., "click at position X", "press End key on line Y")
