Warn if /tmp is not large enough to store binary event files

Through an error if the ```/tmp``` folder has not enough free space to store data of binary event files.

The logic is not completely obvious to me.

- Can we estimate the rough size we need?
- Can we get a reliable estimate of the free space on ```/tmp```?
