A previously bookmarked page using the Chrome web extension Raindrop.io 5.6.76 shows no metadata when that page is navigated to in the browser later and cloud icon in the browser bar is clicked. Shouldn't it retrieve the metadata that is clearly shown in the Raindrop.io web application?
Going to the raidrop.io application the bookmarked page is present and filled in. But open that page in a new tab, press the bookmark extension icon in the browser bar and it will open and show the metadata fields empty. The URL field will be shown (that's the page you're on) and the title and an image from the page will be shown at the top of the icon extension drop down window. But there is no indication metadata tags have been created.
This results in many duplicate entries if you don't first check the Raindrop.io app first and search for the page you were thinking about bookmarking. This is enough user 'friction' to make one think twice about managing one's bookmarks with this tool. I have 7k in the app currently.
