colspan breaks plugin

Hi,

Nice work!
But when using a table with a colspan in the th, the dropdowns will have incorrect values for the next s or the dropdowns won't appear at all.
For now I just fixed it by removing the colspan and adding some empty th-tags.

Would be nice to see a solution.

It gets really tricky if you combine it with rowspan (because that renumbers the rows as shown below).
If you just have colspans and no rowspan afterwards, you can change the selector in line 14 to 'th:not([colspan]):visible', but that doesn't help if you got code like so ...

<tr>
  <th colspan="2">Group 1</th>
  <th colspan="2">Group 2</th>
  <th rowspan="2">Item 3</th> <!-- note the "rowspan" here -->
</tr>
<tr>
  <th>Item 1.1</th>
  <th>Item 1.2</th>
  <th>Item 2.1</th>
  <th>Item 2.2</th>
<tr>

because then you get your items ordered like "Item 3", "Item 1.1", "Item 1.2", and so on.
