Galleries get duplicated when post is updated

I was writing a blog post on a site that Render was active on and discovered that if a gallery was in the content, it would get duplicated so that it appeared twice if the post was updated. Then another gallery would appear each successive update to the post. So if I hit update 5 times there would be 5 galleries.

Yeah. Had to deactivate and live without.
