launch.setDescription() not working in notification plugin

I customized the slack plugin.
In the plugin, launch.setDescription() is called().
But, in reportportal web the description is not changed.

With slack plugin v1.0.1, launch.setDescription() works well as expected.
With slack plugin v1.1.2 and reportportal 25.1.9, the same code not working.

The plugin gets LaunchFinishedPluginEvent.
I want to modify launch, for example its description, in event handling process.
Calling launch.setDescription() is successful, but in reportportal web, description is not changed.

@anyone-can-test , may I ask you: are you expecting that Slack Plugin will allow you to modify launch at a time, when launch is not finished yet?
Slack plugin is just sending information message, it shouldn't somehow modify launch.
I decided to move this thread to Slack Plugin repo.

I currently customized Slack Plugin, in which launch description can be modified on launch-finished-event.
But, after updating to Slack Plugin v1.1.2 and ReportPortal v25.1.9, launch description cannot be changed.
I made the customized slack plugin to be compatible with ReportPortal v25.1.9 and other functionalities work well except for launch description modification.

Ok, I will ask DEV engineer to take a look. But I'm not sure that they will do deep investigation of your issue because we are talking about your custom variant.
