How to use the RNMAPBOX_MAPS_DOWNLOAD_TOKEN environment variable with Expo / EAS

Hi,

I am trying to fix the warning about the deprecated RNMapboxMapsDownloadToken.

So what I did is add the RNMAPBOX_MAPS_DOWNLOAD_TOKEN environment in my EAS. And I removed this part in my eas.json :

But when I do a eas build I get this build error:

What is the correct way of usage with EAS and not using RNMapboxMapsDownloadToken?

Since mapbox no longer requires download tokens, just remove both RNMapboxMapsDownloadToken and RNMAPBOX_MAPS_DOWNLOAD_TOKEN.

What is the mapbox version you're using?!

That sounds some mapbox was used but it's bad for some reason. Old? Do you have the ios folder checked in?

Can you check the pod install steps what version was installed?!

I have 10.2.2 installed currently.

I'm using the Expo managed build process, using the eas build - I can retry with 10.2.6 and clear the cache of the builder to see if that fixes it.

Edit: did a clear cache and update to 10.2.2 but it does not make a difference. The fast-lane error is:
