sortable no more working properly with htmlwidgets 1.6.3

The drag-drop does not work properly with the new version of htmlwidgets. The sorting and drag drop stop working after the first "move"

I have this same issue - when i move the first item it sets drable=false.
I can then manually set this to true and move it again, but that solves nothing.

This is my fix for now:
devtools::install_version("htmlwidgets", version = "1.6.2", repos = "http://cran.us.r-project.org")

I can reproduce this. Thank for the report.

But in my case it doesn't seem as straigh-forward as simply reverting to an older version of htmlwidgets. The version of R also seems to play a role.

An easy way to reproduce is to run one of the examples for rank_list(), for example:

rank_list(
  text = "You can drag, drop and re-order these items:",
  labels = c("one", "two", "three", "four", "five"),
  input_id = "example_2"
)

From my side , I upgraded my server to the latest R version and use the current htmlwidgets package and everything works again.

I'd like to add that I'm having the same issue; using htmlwidgets 1.6.2. I've ran the test app and it works (which is weird), but my setup is the same. I am also getting this: Error: invoke_wrapped: throwing std::runtime_error

Please upgrade your version of R, then report on the versions of R, sortable and htmlwidgets and whether the problem still occurs.

Updated htmlwidgets to 1.6.4; no change.
R 4.3.2 is the most current stable. I was also able to reproduce it on 4.1.0
sortable 0.5.0 is also the most current?

When I've inspected the Shiny app using Dev Tools, it looks like the sort field option 'draggable' is set to FALSE.

Update:
Creating the rank list outside of the UI/Server environment (e.g.: literally before the UI) allows for lists to be sortable, but not when passing it through the renderUI/ uiOutput chain.
