Reconsider whether candidate IP is even validated #1
Description
There's been a few trip ups with attempting to validate an IP address, and while I'm now pretty confident in the regex being used it seems like it could be little over the top to attempt to validate this when the browser really should (and from everything I've observed, does) get it right.
