Cannot use energy bees

I have reviewed a few tutorials and reddit subs and I cannot find a way to use energy bees. There does not seem to be any mod that will extract energy from the apiary.
If there is a mod out there that does work, let me know so I can try it. But as of right now, it doesn't seem to work.

If RFTools is in the pack, you can use Power Relay, set all options to import/export 50k RF and set one side (with the apiary) to input (blue), the rest to output (orange).
You can also use Mekanism energy cubes (or Entangloporter).
Also, Thermal energy cells accept the energy, if configured correctly.

RFtools energy relay did not work, nor did an elderly capacitor and a TE energy cell.
After reviewing RFTools github, it seems the apiary wants to discharge to the internal/null side, which doesn't seem to be an option on many components. The energy rely does, but unfortunately, the server I was placing on reset, so I couldn't test it out. I can try on a single player server to test it out.

What it seems, it's a known issue as there are github threads on this on TROika forgive, so it's not just me.

Just confirmed it in creative. Using a power relay from TROika, you have to set the internal null setting to input. The side facing the apiary does not work

Energy bees do not cause the apiary to output energy; instead they directly add energy to all nearby tiles with an internal rf capacity and the ability to accept rf. (ex. batteries)
