Acceptance criteria
To be considered successful the solution must allow:

• The table should include the plate associated with the sample of name Heron9930896.
• The results in the table should be a superset of the contents created by the previous SQL logic.

Looking at the data for Heron9930896 it was received in 2021 and does not have normal manifest_created and manifest_updated events or even labware_created .

Given that including such samples/plates would require extensive modifications to the report logic, I will close this story as Won't Do. If reporting is required on such samples/projects it will be better to create bespoke specific reports to capture all of the bespoke logic required for the convoluted data trails.
