Closed socket doesn't remove listeners or decrease listener limit

After connecting and re-connecting to a private server a number of times without unsubscribing, eventually all you get is ["err@room:W1N7","subscribe limit reached"] from the subscribe message. After looking at the code, it appears that no events are sent when a connection is closed, so cleanup isn't possible.
