Safe to use Sync now? #1135

Sync has always been safe—it won’t proactively delete your scripts. In the past (e.g., issue #1035), 57 user scripts were uploaded, but only 48 were synced successfully. This was likely due to transient errors during upload/download. You can simply click the sync button again to retry, or check the logs for any sync-related error messages.
The recent PR #1133 primarily fixed state synchronization (such as script order and enabled/disabled status) and added rate limiting to prevent failures caused by too many requests. Looking ahead, version v1.4 is expected to include a recycle bin feature to help avoid accidental deletions. Regarding Sync Delete: it’s safe to enable. When you check this option, the script is marked for deletion, and other devices will receive that deletion status and remove the script accordingly. If you don’t enable Sync Delete, only the local content of the script is removed. In that case:
So, enabling Sync Delete ensures consistent deletion across all your devices. But if you're cautious, you can leave it disabled—just be aware of the behavior described above. |

I am scared. What changes have been made?
Should I only enable Sync Status, or is Sync Delete safe now?
