Hello Secret Network community,
My name is Beyond, and I’m an active contributor to the privacy-focused Web3 ecosystem through my involvement with projects like Nym, Web3Privacy Now, and Zcash Ukraine. I’m based in Ukraine, and I’d like to propose the launch of a Secret Ukraine Regional Community Initiative to increase awareness, education, and practical adoption of Secret Network in Ukraine — a region where privacy-preserving technologies are becoming increasingly vital.
Project Summary
The Secret Ukraine initiative aims to foster an active local community of Secret Network advocates and builders. Through educational content, social media outreach, and offline events, the initiative will:
- Spread awareness of Secret Network’s unique privacy-preserving smart contracts.
- Showcase practical use cases like Secret NFTs, DeFi with programmable privacy, and Secret AI.
- Onboard developers and community members into the Secret ecosystem.
Why Ukraine?
Ukraine is currently at the crossroads of war, humanitarian crisis, digital transformation, and increasing financial scrutiny. Over the last year, we’ve seen:
- Growing state-level monitoring of income, crypto transactions, and banking activity.
- Increased adoption of cryptocurrencies as a hedge against inflation and capital restrictions.
- Rising interest in tools for privacy and digital self-sovereignty, especially among activists, independent media, and freelancers.
This presents a critical opportunity for Secret Network to establish itself as the go-to blockchain for confidential computing and programmable privacy in Eastern Europe.
Goals
- Establish a Ukrainian-speaking Secret Network community focused on education and grassroots outreach.
- Create consistent, localized content (X, Threads, Instagram, Telegram) about Secret Network and its ecosystem.
- Host regular offline events to onboard new users and developers.
- Represent Secret Network at local crypto conferences to increase visibility and adoption.
Scope of Work
Community Building & Social Media (Monthly)
Manage and grow presence on X, Threads, Instagram, Telegram.
Create and share per month:
- 20 posts (use cases, privacy tips, SCRT tools).
- 2–3 visual assets (infographics, videos, carousels).
- Community engagement: polls, discussions, Q&A.
In-Person Outreach (Every 6 Weeks)
- Host 2 regional meetups during the 3-month pilot (10–20 participants each).
- Format: introduction to Secret Network, Secret Contracts workshops, hands-on onboarding.
- Previous relevant experience: Nym Dnipro Workshop, Incrypted 2024 , N-Crypto 2025, Nym Dnipro Zcash
Event Participation
Represent Secret Network at Ukrainian crypto conferences (e.g., Incrypted, N-Crypto, UAFIN.TECH).
Timeline: Pilot (3 Months, September – November 2025)
- Monthly Content Creation (X/Threads/Instagram/Telegram).
- Meetups (Dnipro).
- Everyday Community Engagement online.
Requested Funding
Total: 15,000 SCRT for 3 months (≈ 5,000 SCRT/month).
Breakdown per month:
- Content & Community Management — 3,000 SCRT
- Events (venue, logistics, refreshments, materials) — 1,500 SCRT
- Design, media production, ads, tools — 500 SCRT
Expected Outcomes
- Build and activate a regional Secret-supportive community in Ukraine.
- Expand the reach of Secret Network to new developers and users, especially privacy-minded individuals.
- Localize high-quality educational materials about Secret’s ecosystem.
- Lay the foundation for a long-term Secret presence in Eastern Europe.
