plot linking broken with numpy stride error

The plot linking is broken. To reproduce, create a scatter plot and a histogram plot, then try to select a subset in the scatter plot. The dashboard displays the following error message:

Data update failed on histogram! object_to_numpy1d_nocopy_endian: stride is not equal to 1

Testing with numpy=1.26.4 and various numpy > 2. Also tested in python 3.10 and 3.12 environment.

I think this occurs because under the hood it's doing:
selection_mask_to_pass_to_other_plots = df.isin(selected_array_points)
because I felt that was more reflective of selections for scatter plots -- it will only select what is shown.

If you do the exact same selection with a heatmap, it should work flawlessly. We could change it to be the same interface, i.e. when you draw, it will select everything that's within the bounds you drew, even if they aren't plotted due to the 10k vector point limit.
