Command Structure Request #6

I really have enjoyed the mod so far. It fixed some issues with the original high command that made it not worth using. It does work great when you don't drop any modules down and you just control all of your side. If I make a single player mission and the player starts as a squad leader but the other squad leaders are playable when the first character dies they can team switch to one of the other squad leaders and from the map they still have control over the original squad that has now lost the squad leader. It simulates the next man up and has taken over that squad. The original high command you'd lose that squad and they'd just stand around.

But if you drop the commander and subordinate modules down and link them to the squads so that other units can be on the map NOT controlled by the player then when the squad leader dies and you team switch you lose that squad. It defaults to be like the non controllable units on the map because the link to high command died with the squad leader. I have tried assigning links to the modules and cross attaching and even given command to a playable team leader but none of that seems to work once you switch to one of the other squads. Command of that squad on the map is gone.

Can the link from a dead character be reassigned to another group member to keep that group in command? Preferably it would go to a playable character first and then by rank but any way it was done that would allow command to be retained would be great.

Thanks for consideration.
