I just read your pre-print and enjoyed it a lot! Since I am working with conda environments to manage my R installation, I created a fork and packaged IMA for installation with conda: https://anaconda.org/kleiss/r-ima
If you have an issue with that, let me know and I will remove the package ASAP!
FYI, I will do the same for countland, so I can try your library.
