No rule for 01-03

Hi! I ran into an issue where when I try to run your scatter, model, and render report codes, it says that there is no rule to make target 'derived_data/data_clean.rds' needed by them. I believe this is because your derived_data folder was not transferred into your Git repository since it was empty. The same will be true for your figures and tables folders. You have to do 'touch (folder name)/.gitkeep" and then commit and push this for the folders to be there.

Hi, if you run the "make data_cleaning" first, the rest will run just fine. I believe that's what the assignments want us to do is to follow the Readme file.

However, I have upload again and it includes all the rds and the figures. You should run it without any error.

I did run make data_cleaning first! I don’t think the repository should include the output- you just need .gitkeep within the folders so that the empty folders get uploaded into your repository. If you don’t, I won’t be able to download the empty folders onto my computer, resulting in the error. Ask the professor if you still have questions about this, but great job!
