Can't seem to login to my account (created with Epic Games)

I tried the email and password I used to create my Epic Games account, and I get an authentication issue every time. I also tried the username and same password. No dice. Does this plugin work with user accounts that were signed up through Epic? I don't see any way to create an account without using Epic.
