RPD doesn't work if opened from Steam #36

Hi, I'm quite new to this software so sorry if I'm making an obvious mistake. On Arch Linux, I've been able to launch RPD through the command line and launch games without issues (tested on Dolphin and Eden emulator), but if I launch RPD through steam the run button has no effect. The GUI appears and I'm able to import apps without issue, but trying to run them results in nothing happening.
I've tried with both the AUR package and release file, both had the same behaviour. The issue could be with my donor games, all of which potentially using a compatibility layer due to being executables, but tModLoader doesn't seem to and it still failed to load. I'm out of ideas
I would upload logs or screenshots but I don't know what would be helpful. Let me know if you need more
