--nouse-stderr being ignored for some messages

Hi all,

I'm running with "--nouse-stderr" but I still see the following warnings being thrown to stderr:
```
unknown statistic report type, type=14
unknown statistic report type, type=15
unknown statistic report type, type=16
unknown statistic report type, type=17
```

All other messages I see when I don't run with --nouse-stderr DO NOT show up when I'm running with that option
