WP-Admin Purge Cache does not show or log an error if cache purge fails

The SpinupWP WordPress plugin that provides the "Purge Cache" menu item in WP-Admin does not show or log errors if there is a failure during the cache purge task.
It would be nice if there is any failure to show a pop-up or at least log an error in the WordPress debug/error log.
