The presence of Sass/CSS directories.

Still quite new to Statamic so forgive my lack of knowledge but I thought some explanation of how Sass should be handled might be helpful. Is this theme assuming that I will handle the compilation of Sass myself or is the Sass add-on recommended here?

Personally I like using CodeKit or Compass to compile my SASS, but if you want Statamic to do it for you, check out the SASS plugin by Jeremy Messenger:
