A question for start using this a a beginner

Hey guys,
I am new to taskwarrior and this plugin. I read in README file that this plugin uses the fact that taskwarrior uses plaintext as the back end. But this is for version 2. Since I dont see any recent updates in the repo. Is this plugin still working with version 3?

I just installed it because I read in docs of taswarrior that it is easy to nest tasks dependencies using indentation with this plugin. But I have not idea how to use it. I would appreciate some help with this.
