Fyne apps - Cross platform GUIs with Go #169
Description
The Fyne toolkit has been in development for 18 months and is now the most popular GUI toolkit for Go. Following the 1.2 release last month any apps built with the toolkit can be built for desktop (Windows, Linux, macOS, BSD) or mobile (iOS, Android) and others (Raspberry Pi).
In this talk Andrew will introduce the toolkit for anyone not yet familiar, show why Go is a great language for GUI apps and show how easy it is to build cross platform GUIs.
If presented from his own laptop there may even be a glimpse of the desktop environment built with Fyne as well :)
