Obviously, ground truth is a critical module here and we want more :) (cosem, and allen institute are current examples, outside of synthetically generated stuff like matslines). this issue can track possible additions:

Hi Talley, I'm currently rewriting SyMBac (a bacterial cell simulator), available here: https://github.com/georgeoshardo/SyMBac_2
Currently only allows for monolayers, but will soon include reaction-diffusion, individual Gillespie trajectories running in each cell, and other such features.
