Question: Using Standard PCB Instead of FPC for Testing #5

Congratulations for such a nice project, and sorry for posting this question as an issue.
I have a question regarding the PCB design for the TickTag. I noticed that the current design uses an FPC, but I am considering testing with a standard rigid PCB instead. My main concern is whether there are any specific issues or challenges I might face if I opt for a standard PCB during the testing phase.
I suspect that the standard PCB might not fit perfectly within the 3D-printed enclosure, but that wouldn't be a major issue for me at this stage. However, I am wondering if there are other critical factors that make using an FPC essential, especially during initial testing, or if it would still be feasible to proceed with a rigid PCB.
Would using a standard PCB impact functionality or testing results in a significant way? Any insights or advice would be greatly appreciated!
Additionally, I’d like to ask if you have tried soldering the components using a standard soldering station with fine tips (I have one available). If not, could you please let me know if there are any special challenges I might face? From what I see, most of the components, such as the Quectel module and some ICs, seem manageable with this technique, and I have experience soldering similar parts.
I am looking to conduct initial tests with small quantities, as a large volume of tags is not my focus at the moment, and the FPC option is quite costly at this early stage.
