Jenx fails to connect to Jenkins instance running over SSL connection

I have a Jenkins install running behind an apache SSL proxy so that the connection is SSL encrypted. When attempting to connect to the server Jenx fails with the following message in the system console.

Jenx: /Applications/jenx.app/Contents/Resources/rb_main.rb:30:in `

': uninitialized constant PreferencesGeneralViewController::InvalidURIError (NameError)

I have similar configuration and it works great. In your case it looks like something wrong with your "Build Server URL", which should contains "https://yourservername". Maybe you put some extra whitespace before or after it.

I have tested this as well and it works. Although I think we need to have a nicer way of showing errors. Ill add it to the list.

See if the latest DMG fixes the issue.

I just tried this and it didn't work for me but then when I tried to access https://my.jenkins.server/api/json in Firefox, I got the following error:

http://cl.ly/390F1v3I19421I343l3C

So you might want to check that you can load the /api/json page over SSL.
