Description
How I've thought about this is -
Server handles the files. Creates one buffer per file being edited. Provides a socket-based API for clients to send editing etc. commands to it.
Client handles user interface.
Problems I have with this -
- Duplication of efforts. Clients will have to store something like a buffer too, for displaying the text
