Feature Request: Enable/Disable Extension per Site Root

I am currently using your deferred-image-processing extension in TYPO3 11LTS. I've encountered a situation where I need the ability to enable or disable the extension per site root.

Specifically, I am using headless in one page tree, while in another, I want to use the deferred-image-processing extension. The current configuration is causing some conflicts and the ability to toggle the extension on or off per site root would be a great solution to this problem.

@misterboe I heard there was some problem in combination with the headless extension. I didn't have the time to investigate it further, as I currently don't have project using EXT:headless. I hoped, you and your team could provide a test project/setup with headless and deferred_image_processing, so I can debug the problem and hopefully come up with a solution.

Anyway, the ability of having custom code to influence wether the processing should be deferred, seems a reasonable request. I would opt for a more general approach based on an events instead of implementing the proposed per-site-root solution.

@misterboe ; are you using TS plugin.tx_headless.staticTemplate = 1 and/or headless: true @ site-config ?
