Initialize should take a hash as an argument

What do you guys think of initializing all Ruby objects with a hash? We already do this with active record models and probably a lot of other places.

I'd use the metz rule of wait until there are 3 arguments before hashing it up. We usually seem to have 1,2 or many many arguments. I don't think requiring keywords is necessary for everything.
