"Your transaction was not successful." if keys entered incorrectly

Something is failing while trying to process payments resulting in a general exception being caught. For some reason, the error message isn't being returned.

Update: this is caused by entering API keys incorrectly. The error message returned by the API is not getting displayed, so that still needs fixed.
