Using ffmpeg's video filters

Would it be possible to use ffmpeg's video filters with this addon? I specifically have the -vf negate in mind

How specially are they used? Just on the command line? The trick is how to apply them programmatically.

Anything is possible, it's just how much mechanism to apply exists already.

A filtergraph has a textual representation, which is recognized by the -filter/-vf/-af and -filter_complex options in ffmpeg and -vf/-af in ffplay

There are a lot of possible filters, not only video

The user documentation is very clear. The trick is in this can be done programmatically via the API.
