Please describe the feature you have in mind and explain what the current shortcomings are?
Currently we already support on-the-flight transcoding via editorial package intermediate file rendering. The same workflow could be used also for generating plate material for each shot and benefit this way Resolves GPU rendering engine for transcoding Camera raw footages to lets say EXRs.
