  • Adds current version of CRDs as v1alpha1
  • Adds a check for spec changes to CRDs
    • Fail status check if the spec changes AND the spec-change label does not exist

2 purposes for this change

  • surfacing spec changes
  • allows for operator deployment without the rust toolchain.
