🌟 NoDating's Purpose:

• NoDating is designed for one sole reason: Stopping misconduct in Among Us.
• Among Us' moderation is awful to say the least. Name filters are easily bypassed, player reporting is tedious, and it is unknown what the exact conditions are to have a player banned from the game. Not to forget, these game bans are easily bypassed. The game is a magnet for inappropiate players, toxicity, and even illegal activity, like pedophilia. NoDating aims to wear down this playerbase.
• After several years of requested better moderation systems by players, the game remains left out in the cold. Since the developers won't anything, we will.
• If it was possible, action would have been taken without harmful exploits, but sadly it is not.

💡 How To Install:

• If you have BepInEx, download NoDating.dll in releases and move it into Among Us → BepinEx → Plugins
• If you don't have BepInEx:
• Download the latest .zip file in the releases tab
• Extract the contents of the zip into your Among Us folder
• Paste the copied files directly into your Among Us game folder
• Shown below are the folder locations:
  • Steam: Right-click Among Us in your Library → Manage → Browse local files
  • Epic Launcher: Right-click Among Us in your Library → Manage → Click the folder icon in the Installation box
  • Itch.io: Open the Itch.io app → Right-click Among Us in your Library → Manage → Open folder in Explorer
  • Xbox App: Open the Xbox app → Right-click Among Us in your library → Manage → Files → Browse...
  • Microsoft Store: Check this support article on how to find and access your Among Us folder.

❓ What NoDating Does:

• NoDating automatically seeks and crashes lobbies deemed to be inappropiate.
• All lobbies with max of 4 players are flagged. This type of lobby is obviously not meant for real gameplay and is practically always used for dating/sexting/misc inappropiate purposes.
• Lobbies with max 5-15 players are flagged if the host name is deemed to be inappropiate. The component to detect names has been tested on hundreds of occasions, so false detections are near 0%. g0aty is the creator of the name detection, credit goes to him.
• You may DM .g0aty or apemv on Discord to request insight for the name detection.
• Two files are generated by NoDating.DLL:
• 1: BepInEx->config->NoDating.CFG - Allows you to configure all sorts of settings, like FPS and Overload strength.
• 2: BepInEx->LogOutput.TXT - Logs joined games, players info, ongoing events, etc. The file clears itself every startup.

📎 FAQ and Other Info:

• Source code info:
• NoDating's source code is intentionally private. It has been carefully written to make sure no innocent parties are affected, but having the source code public would allow users to change important values and use it for many potentially awful purposes.
• No one besides the developers will ever have access to the source code, no exceptions apply.
• In game alternations:
• It is not possible to manually join games using NoDating, this is to prevent the crashing of innocent parties.
• Due to the nature of NoDating's crashing method, you will not visually see the impact it has on lobbies. Once the "Lobby Found" trigger has been sent in LogOutput.TXT, it is guaranteed that respective lobby has been crashed.
• If you wish to view the impact, create a 4 player lobby on another account in a non-English language and set the lobby to public. At the same time, set the NoDating client filter to the same language. Your lobby will then be guaranteed to be found and crashed.
• NoDating uses the "You were disconnected ... suspended by another app" error to send signals. If you see this error, it is intentional and not an actual error. LogOutput.TXT always shows the purpose if this error is given.
• Recommendations when using NoDating:
• Do not change NoDating.CFG values if your game seems to be running fine. The default settings have been carefully chosen, so altering them will usually make a bad impact. FindAGameDelta and FPS are normally the only settings you might have to change, set these higher if things are not working as intended.
• Do not manually perform inputs. NoDating is designed to be automatic. Performing manual inputs will never have a positive effect.
